Fantastic FNQ photo Friday

Imagine a quiet, tropical paradise where palm trees line deserted sandy beaches. Where the ocean is crystal clear, the friendly locals happy to share a beer and a chat (especially if you're shouting!) and time moves at a slower pace.

That's what you get when you drive an hour or so north of Cairns along the coastal road to Port Douglas. If you thought Cairns was pretty quiet wait until you get to Port.

This image was taken from the Flagstaff Hill lookout down to Four Mile Beach. You can see how the palm trees line the beach and how calm and clear the water is. It really is a magical place - especially at sunrise.

I've posted a gallery of Port Douglas photos and would love it if you popped along to take a look at what this beautiful little place has to offer.
